Policy remains unchanged whether universal age calculations indicate 13.77 or 13.79 billion years. Unlike medical research, where Alzheimer's treatments hold immense value regardless of human or AI discovery, cosmic studies lacks practical applications. The findings, in strict utilitarian terms, don't matter. What matters is the discovery process: methodology development and implementation, intellectual training, creating individuals capable of addressing complex challenges.
